The STM LoRa device is designed for precise and reliable temperature measurement of bulk goods stored in floor warehouses or open spaces. Its primary use is monitoring the temperature of granular goods such as wheat, corn, sunflower, and soy.

Additionally, STM LoRa is ideal for measuring the temperature of other materials, including powder goods, wood chips, pellets, coal, and similar materials. Thanks to its advanced technology and long-lasting wireless connectivity via the LoRa protocol, the device enables precise real-time measurements and monitoring, even in demanding storage conditions.

LoRa Probe

The system is designed to allow users to place probes after filling the warehouse and remove them before emptying the facility. This principle is ideal for temperature measurement in floor warehouses.

During the rest of the operation process, no additional manipulation of system elements is required.

The probe is made from a flexible stainless steel pipe, whose flexibility allows easy handling even in facilities with low roofs. The standard length of probes is 6m, and probes of other lengths can be produced upon user request.

Each probe contains four precision measuring sensors.

The probe is powered by a battery suitable for use in explosive environments, such as bulk goods warehouses.

Temperature Reading Device (RPi)

Easily portable microcomputer with a touchscreen display.

Probes wirelessly transmit temperature data to the reading device using the LoRa WiFi protocol.

A single device can collect temperature data from an unlimited number of probes, with the number of probes depending on the warehouse dimensions and user needs.

Measured temperatures are displayed on the device screen, and remote checking via the internet is also enabled. Additionally, the device supports daily temperature reports via email.

The TKP-2 portable temperature meter is designed for measuring the temperature of bulk goods such as grain (wheat, corn, sunflower, soy) but is also applicable for powder goods, wood chips, pellets, coal, and other materials. It is ideal for floor warehouses or open spaces.

With this device, a single operator can check temperatures in multiple locations, providing flexibility and precision in storage condition control.

The TKP-2 connects to the penetration probe (US-1) via a signal cable. Its modular construction allows individual temperature readings from multiple probes, giving users the ability to set up more stationary penetration probes for better coverage of goods.

Penetration Probe US-1

Penetration Probe US-1

The US-1 penetration probe is made of stainless steel and allows precise temperature measurements at various depths within stored goods. Standard probe lengths are 2m or 3m, with 4 sensors spaced 50cm apart (for 2m probes) or 75cm apart (for 3m probes).

The sensors are designed to provide accurate temperature readings at critical depths, enabling detailed control of stored goods. If needed, probe lengths and the number of sensors can be adjusted to meet specific user requirements.

The main goal of storing goods in silos is to preserve their quality over an extended period. The primary function of the silo thermometer is to monitor the condition of goods by measuring their temperature. Using this system significantly reduces the number of goods elevators required, improving energy balance (saving electricity), product quality (reducing grain breakage), and reducing equipment wear. Additionally, it avoids unnecessary fumigation and minimizes the risk of spontaneous combustion and explosions.

Features of the STM-3 Silo Thermometer:

  • Certified explosion-proof protection – II1D Exta IIIC T85°C/T100°C/T125°C;

Temperature Probe

The probes are made of thin stainless steel tubes, allowing for protection and seamless service even when the silo cell is full.

The small cross-section of the tube reduces tensile forces on the silo roof, which is especially important for metal silos.

The protective cable with its housing is certified for installation in explosive atmospheres, applicable to silo cells.

A thermal probe is lowered into the hollow space of the protective cable, enabling easy sensor replacement and servicing at any time, regardless of whether the silo cell is full or not.

High-quality digital sensors are used in the probes, characterized by high precision and measurement repeatability.

The use of these sensors completely eliminates the effects of signal installation resistance on measurement accuracy.

STM Distribution Box

The electronics are housed in a distribution box that can be located on the upper gallery of the silo. The entire electronics system is modularly designed.

This feature allows for quick and efficient servicing, as well as fault or error localization.

The system will continue to operate without issues even if a fault occurs in a component, such as a sensor, probe, command unit, or another silo part.

Each distribution box features a display for simple command operation and temperature monitoring independent of a computer.

ThermoSmart

ThermoSmart is software specifically designed for complete temperature monitoring of stored goods in silos and floor warehouses.

Its interface is adaptable to the layout of silo cells and provides an instant temperature overview.

The software allows for saving measurements in PDF files and a database designed for tracking temperature charts.

Users can input and monitor basic data about the goods in silo cells, such as the type of goods, storage date and time, fumigation, and other parameters.

The computer communicates with the system via a standard serial port, USB port, or through a local computer network (RS422, RS485, LAN, or WiFi connection), depending on the number of distribution boxes and the layout of thermal hangers.

Capacitive Level Switch

Capacitive level switches with a rod-shaped probe can be installed vertically or horizontally.

Since the signal information from the level switch is independent of the supply voltage in direct or inverse logic, capacitive level switches can be integrated into the automation of a transport system or production process.

Light and sound signaling can be connected according to the requirements of the technological process.

Microdoser

Operation is managed using a potentiometer located on the doser's control distribution box.

In the flour production process (in the milling and baking industry), wheat is often used as a raw material, which cannot produce flour with satisfactory characteristics when processed.

To improve flour quality, appropriate additives are added.

Given the large quantities of flour (depending on the mill's capacity, from 3 t/h to 25 t/h), it is necessary to gradually dose the planned amount of additives.

Depending on the quality of the flour and the mill's capacity, the required amount of additives ranges from a few hundred grams to several dozen kilograms per hour.

The standard doser has a capacity of 400g to 2kg.

Thanks to its unique construction, the doser's capacity can be easily adjusted, allowing us to meet every user's requirement.

The standard hopper capacity is about 25kg of additives.

Operation is managed using a potentiometer located on the doser's control distribution box.

The distance between the distribution box and the doser can be up to 100m.

Operation can also be managed via a computer, enabling programming of the doser's operation for extended periods.

In addition to the milling and baking industry, the doser is also used in feed factories, the chemical industry, and the building materials industry.
